These terms govern your use of ORVENTA and all purchases made through our platform. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
1. Use of Our Website
By accessing shopORVENTA.com, you agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not attempt to compromise the security of our platform, access data that does not belong to you, or use automated tools to scrape our content.
2. Account Responsibility
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately at hello@shoporventa.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Product Availability & Pricing
All products are subject to availability. Prices displayed are in Ugandan Shillings (UGX) unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time of checkout confirmation.
4. Orders & Payment
An order is confirmed only after payment is successfully processed. We accept MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money, and other methods shown at checkout. You must ensure sufficient funds and correct account details. We do not store your full payment credentials.
5. Pre-Orders
Pre-ordered items are items not yet in stock that we have sourced or are sourcing for you. Payment or deposit requirements for pre-orders are shown at checkout and confirmed in your order summary. Estimated arrival times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed — supplier delays, customs processing, and logistics factors can affect timelines. We will notify you promptly of any material changes. See the Pre-order Guide for full details.
Deposit policy (ORVENTA-listed pre-orders): Some ORVENTA-listed pre-order items allow a deposit at placement, with the balance due before dispatch. Deposit terms are displayed at checkout.
6. Personal Shopping & Client-Sourced Products
Our personal shopping service allows you to request items sourced directly from international retailers or suppliers on your behalf. The following rules apply to all client-sourced orders:
- Full payment is required before we place the sourcing order on your behalf, except where an approved deposit arrangement has been explicitly confirmed in writing
- Client-sourced items are non-returnable and non-exchangeable unless they arrive with a verified defect
- Sourcing quotes are valid for the period stated in the quote and are subject to supplier availability and currency fluctuations
- We will notify you of any material price changes before proceeding
- You will receive a detailed sourcing confirmation before payment is taken
7. Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled before dispatch by contacting us at hello@shoporventa.com. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled — a return must be requested instead. Client-sourced and pre-order items may not be cancellable once the sourcing order has been placed with the supplier — this will be stated in your sourcing confirmation.
8. Delivery
Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary. We will notify you if a significant delay is anticipated. See our Shipping Policy for full delivery terms.
9. Returns & Exchanges
Returns and exchanges are governed by our Return & Exchange Policy. Client-sourced and certain hygiene-sensitive items are non-returnable.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including images, copy, branding, and design — is owned by or licensed to ORVENTA. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ORVENTA is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of our website or products. Our total liability for any claim arising from a purchase shall not exceed the value of that purchase.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available at this address. Continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
