Pre-ordering lets you secure items before they arrive. Here is exactly how it works at ORVENTA — timelines, payments, and what happens if things change.

What Is a Pre-order?

A pre-order is a reservation for an item that has been confirmed with our supplier but has not yet arrived at our warehouse. Pre-ordering allows you to secure your size and colour before stock lands, often at a confirmed price.

Which Products Are Pre-orderable?

Products marked with a "Pre-order" label are available for pre-ordering. These are items we have confirmed with our supplier and are actively tracking for arrival.

Estimated Arrival Timelines

Every pre-order listing displays an estimated arrival window. This estimate includes a buffer period added to the supplier-confirmed ETA to account for transit time, customs clearance, and quality inspection at our end. Dates shown are our best estimate — not a guarantee.

Payment Terms

ORVENTA-listed pre-orders: Depending on the product, you may be required to pay in full at checkout, or a deposit option may be available. Deposit amounts and balance due dates are shown clearly on the product page and in your order confirmation.

Client-sourced items (personal shopping): Full payment is required before we place the order with the supplier. No deposit arrangements apply to personal shopping orders unless explicitly confirmed in writing. See our Terms and Conditions for the full personal shopping payment policy.

Supplier Delays

Occasionally, a supplier may delay or change an ETA after you have pre-ordered. If this happens:

  • We will notify you as soon as we are informed of the change
  • A revised estimated arrival date will be communicated
  • If the delay is significant, you will be given the option to cancel for a full refund

Availability Risk

In rare cases, a supplier may be unable to fulfil a pre-ordered item (due to production issues, stock discrepancy, or discontinuation). If this happens, we will notify you immediately and issue a full refund. We will also endeavour to source an equivalent item at a comparable price, but this is subject to your approval.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel a pre-order before the supplier confirmation date (the date we place the order with the supplier). After supplier confirmation, cancellations may not be accepted. The cancellation cut-off date is shown in your order confirmation. To request a cancellation, contact us at hello@shoporventa.com.

Delivery & Pickup

Once your pre-ordered item arrives and passes our quality check, it is dispatched following the same process as in-stock orders. You will receive a dispatch notification. You may also elect to collect your pre-order using our Reserve & Collect service.

Customer Updates

You will receive at least two notifications for your pre-order: one when the item is confirmed with the supplier, and one when it is dispatched. Logged-in customers can track pre-order status in their Account > Orders.
